About Temple Navigator

Last updated 4 September 2026

Temple Navigator is an independent directory of Hindu temples, mandirs and spiritual communities across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany and Australia. It exists for one reason: when you are away from home and want to visit a temple, the basics — where it is, whether it is open, how to reach someone — should be in one place.

How the listings are built

Listings come from public directories and openly published sources. We currently list 1,892 temples, of which 495 have been checked against the temple's own published details and carry a Verified badge.

Anything without that badge has not been independently confirmed. We deliberately do not mark a listing verified until someone has actually checked it — an inaccurate badge is worse than no badge, particularly when a family is planning a long drive.

Corrections

Every temple page has a “Suggest an edit” link, and hours and photos can be submitted by anyone. Submissions are reviewed by hand before publishing; nothing goes live automatically. If you represent a temple and something here is wrong, that form is the fastest route.

What we are not

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or speaking for any temple, trust or religious organisation. We do not take payment for listings or for verification.

Who maintains it

S
Saksham Editor, Temple Navigator

I build and maintain Temple Navigator. Every listing here is either imported from a public directory and clearly marked as unverified, or checked against the temple's own published details before it earns a verified badge. Corrections from temple communities are reviewed by hand.

Information with contextSource and verification status belong to every listing.
